future Digital Inclusion
Since 2014, the Online Centres Network has supported more than 1 million people to learn basic digital skills through the Future Digital Inclusion (FDI) programme funded by the Department for Education and predecessor Departments, making a significant contribution to closing the digital skills gap in the UK.
Park View Project have adopted the principles of digital inclusion for those we represent inline with the Online Centre's Network mission to bring online all those who experience digital poverty.
Providing basic digital skills is essential to ensure individuals can remain independent and in control over their day-to-day needs. Set out below is the document presenting what the UK government needs to understand and support online centres vital work of tackling digital discrimination.
